7 Things Your UTI and QTM Have in Common

  1. Your tests came back! It’s not good
    • You check your results and although you were feeling bad after the test, you’re definitely in a funk now.
  2. The Symptoms
    • It’s been 2 weeks and that painful, burning sensation has not gone away. Experts say it’s not unusual to feel bad all over.
  3. Cranberry juice can’t, and never could, save you
    • “A handful of studies show” my ass. You’ve fucked up, or maybe it was just bad luck but chugging cranberry juice won’t do shit for you anymore. Your “box and whiskers” is going to need some serious care; seek professional help.
  4. It can’t kill you, but it can do serious damage if ignored.
    • QTM can fuck up your GPA and a UTI can give you a kidney infection. Which is worse? Depends who you ask.
  5. Your p value is too high
    • Whether you’re peeing every 5 seconds or after 2 months you still have no idea how to use R, that pee/p value must go down.
  6. It’s a sad, sad rite of passage
    • Welcome to the club, let’s all vent together! Feeling down while experiencing either QTM or a UTI is normal but if there are significant changes to your mental state, you are going to want to take your sorry ass to CAPS.
  7. Center, spread and shape
    • Whether you’re describing a histogram or that rash, there’s no joy in your newfound knowledge. Pay attention though, odds are you will encounter both these things again in life.
