Citing that he had suspicions that his bag was lighter than normal while moving back into his dorm, local student Jamie Slessinger has confirmed that he forgot to pack his will to live for his move-in for the spring semester. “Yeah at first I thought I forgot to pack a spare towel or something, and then I thought that like I might have left a pair of shoes back at my place, but then I thought ‘That’s probably not it.’” It wasn’t until sitting down to complete his first assignment for the new semester that he was immediately struck by overwhelming feelings of apathy and laziness did he realize what he forgot to pack. “Oh yeah that’s what it was, my will to live.”
Slessinger was reportedly surprised by the realization. “Dude I totally thought I packed it. Like I thought it was right next to my retainer. “Haha oops oh well!” Slessinger texted his parents that he forgot to pack his will to continue existing. “They were pretty pissed about it honestly. They were like ‘you should really be less forgetful with your things Jamie. Imagine if you forgot to pack something you’d really miss like your watch. You’ve got to be better at keeping track of your things’” Slessinger reportedly tried to get his ability to continue moving forward in life shipped to Few Hall. His parents told him he had to pay for shipping to get it sent to campus, which “kind of blows.”
